Stretch Break Pro Guide

Stretch Break Pro is an ergonomic software program that helps prevent computer related injuries by gently reminding you to take periodic breaks while using your computer. SF State has purchased a license for Stretch Break software. The license permits faculty, staff and students to use Stretch Break on both university owned and personal computers.

Stretch Break Pro for Windows

  1. Download the username and password file (login required for faculty, staff and students)
  2. Open the file to view the username and password
  3. Navigate to Paratec's download website: http://www.paratec.com/sbform/v66_bih_downloadform.htm
  4. Enter your name, e-mail address, and SFSU in the required fields
  5. Click Submit
  6. When prompted, enter the username and password from the downloaded text file and click Ok
  7. Save the file to your computer
  8. Double click the stretch66_bringithome.exe file
  9. Follow the prompts to install the software

 

Stretch Break Pro for Mac OS X

  1. Download the username and password file (login required for faculty, staff and students)
  2. Open the file to view the username and password
  3. Navigate to Paratec's download website: http://www.paratec.com/sbform/mac_pro_612_download.htm
  4. Enter your name, e-mail address, in the required fields
  5. Click Submit
  6. When prompted, enter the username and password from the downloaded text file and click Ok
  7. Open the StretchBreak612.dmg file
  8. Save the file to your computer
  9. Double click the StretchBreakPro-v6.1.2.dmg file
  10. Click on Stretch Break Java
  11. Follow the prompts to install the software
