SF State has campus-wide sofware agreements with Adobe, McAfee, and Microsoft. Information on the agreements/licensing and the available software can be found on the following pages:
Califorina State University has a license enabling faculty and staff to use the Adobe Creative Cloud software. Three packages, Acrobat Pro, Creative Cloud Apps, and Creative Cloud Apps with video tools, are available for eligible users.
SF State provides a copy of McAfee VirusScan free to all current students, staff and faculty.
The Microsoft Student Select+ Agreement allows students to purchase Microsoft products (licenses and media) at significantly reduced prices.
The Microsoft Campus Agreement and the Microsoft Select Agreement provide faculty, and staff, including officially recognized Auxiliary organizations, with the use of certain desktop products and CORE Client Access Licenses (CALs) including Software Assurance (SA) and to purchase software licenses and media not included in the Campus Agreement at significant discounts.
The Microsoft Campus Agreement includes Work at Home Rights (WAH) for all covered software.
