Adobe Creative Cloud Training

Adobe Adobe Education Solutions Consultant, Rick Miller will be presenting four different presentations that each cover a different Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) application: Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat XI and Premier Pro. Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend one or more sessions.

 

Adobe Illustrator CC – Graphic Design Made Simple

When: Thursday, September 26th 9am – 10am
Where: SFSU Library – Library Event Room
What: Adobe Illustrator CC allows anyone to create graphics for any design ranging from a small logo up to a billboard sized image. With Illustrator users have the flexibility to create and manipulate text, graphics in a variety of different colors, import color pallets from Adobe Kuler from iPhone or iPad and share the content in a variety of different formats. Rick Miller, Adobe Education Solutions Consultant, will be showcasing the useful features of Illustrator and will be showcasing the new, and powerful features added in the CC release.

 

Adobe Photoshop CC – Edit Digital Photography

When: Thursday, September 26th 10am – 11am
Where: SFSU Library – Library Event Room
What: Adobe Photoshop CC is latest release of the worlds leading digital photo editing application. Rick Miller, Adobe Education Solutions Consultant, will be showcasing an overview of Photoshop including some of the interface basics and some of the powerful and new features available in the latest version, CC. You will leave excited that you now have access to this tool and its many features.

 

Adobe Acrobat XI – Document Creation, Conversion and Accessible Documents

When: Thursday, September 26th 11am – noon
Where: SFSU Library – Library Event Room
What: Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is the most popular document creation and conversion application available. Rick Miller, Adobe Education Solutions Consultant, will be offering an overview of some of the many new features and capabilities of Acrobat Pro XI. During this session you will learn how to create forms, PDFs from a variety of sources convert PDFs to Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint. Additionally, you will learn how to generate accessible PDFs to be shared with students, colleagues and the world.

 

Adobe Premiere Pro CC – The New Standard in Video Editing

When: Thursday, September 26th noon – 1pm
Where: SFSU Library – Library Event Room
What: Adobe Premiere Pro CC is one of the worlds leading cross-platform video editing solutions. It is used by Television, Movie and independent video editors alike. It offers powerful editing tools with a simple and straightforward interface. Rick Miller, Adobe Education Solutions Consultant, will be offering an introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro CC and showcasing some of its powerful, yet simple new features for editing digital video from a  variety of different sources. You will leave this session understanding how to edit video in Premiere Pro so that it may be exported to a variety of different formats.
